I spent a few days in Amsterdan last january with my 17years old daughter and we had a wonderful time! We stay at Hotel Aalders and everything about the hotel was great: the big family room, breakfast, location and staff. The Hotel has a home atmosphere, is very clean, very friendly and is close enough to most atractions. the staff helps you in every question. We would definitely stay there again. Loved it!

My wife and I stayed from 27.06.2012 to 6.072012. We'd like to thank all the staff at Hotel Aalders for a very pleasant stay in Amsterdam. The room was small, but that's usual for hotels in this city. It was nice and clean, and the room service was excellent. All people were very friendly and spoke perfect English. There are a lot of discount cards available next to the reception. The brerakfast was very good, too. The location of the hotel is great - next to Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. It was very important and convenient for us to have Vondel Park next to the hotel, it takes 5 minutes on fot to get there. When we stay in Amsterdam again, we won't look for the hotel. We know where to stay - Hotel Aalders.
Very good hotel

Traveling to Amsterdam for the first time, we took a risk and booked online at Hotel Aalders. The pictures looked quaint and the setting, lovely. We were more than pleased once we arrived and settled in.
The location was perfect! The weather was unseasonably warm and, because of its quiet location, we could open our windows without worry of noise disturbances.
The breakfast was abundant and a great way to start our mornings. Everything from top-notch room accommodations to warm reception staff made for an unforgettable stay this past July (July 21 to July 24)
If ever traveling to Amsterdam again, we will certainly return for another stay...
Well done, Hotel Aalders - you will come highly recommended from this American family.
Great stay! Great hotel!

I have stayed in your hotel last minth May 2014, I arrived from Dubai and I just want to thank you of the great hospitality shown from ALL the staff. I would like to say super thanks to Alex (main person in reception) as he really helped me a lot (I keep on bugging him) :)
The hotel's location was perfect! the room I was in was small but good enough for a single person and to get some good sleep during the night. I must say the bathrooms in the rooms were impressive too!
Thank you Hotel Aalders and when I do visit Amsterdam I will definitely stay with you again!
Cheers from Dubai!
Super Hotel. (review)

We stayed at Hotel Aalders for 4 nights. The booking process was easy and we received email confirmation. The price was slightly cheaper than on booking websites. Getting to the hotel for the airport was really straightforward - bus 197 (5 euros each) took about half an hour, getting off at Museumplein. It’s then a 2 minute walk; there’s a sign above the bus stop telling you where to go. We arrived at 10 in the morning so our room was obviously not ready but they stored our bags for us.
Our room was a triple; lovely big room with a double and a single bed (proper bed not a sofa bed), feature fireplace and balcony overlooking the quiet street. Some reviews have said there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room but ours did have. Bathroom was a shower/wetroom which was fine.
Breakfast every morning from 7 - 10 was a selection of cereals, fruit juice, tea/coffee, breads (toaster), rolls, mini croissants, ham/cheese, boiled eggs.
The hotel is a little out of the main city centre but everywhere is within walking distance; 20 minutes to Anne Frank Huis and 30 minutes to Central Station. The Rijksmuseum and Van Goch Museums are 5 minutes away. There are plenty of buses and trams from Museumplein.
This was a lovely hotel in a really useful location. It was very clean and tidy and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
We would definitely stay here again.
